The workflow
Run your Meta ads by
talking to an AI.
No Ads Manager. I connected my business’s ad account to Claude Code in about two minutes. Now I ask it for my numbers, tell it to build a campaign, and it does. Here is the exact setup so you can copy it.
Before you start
What you need first.
This is the boring part, but skip it and nothing works. Get these four in place, then the setup takes two minutes.
A Meta Business Manager (business.facebook.com). Free, ten minutes.
Your business verified inside it. This one can take a couple days, so start it early.
An ad account with a payment method attached.
Claude Code installed. That is the thing you talk to.
Running someone else’s account? They grant you access through their business manager. No passwords ever change hands.
The setup
Three steps, about two minutes.
This is the official Meta connection, not a third-party tool. One login, and Meta holds the keys.
claude mcp add --transport http meta-ads "https://mcp.facebook.com/ads"/mcpType it, pick meta-ads, hit authenticate. A Facebook login pops up. Allow ad access, pick the business you verified, done. You do not build a Facebook developer app or copy an access token around. That method is dead.
How you use it
What you actually say.
Now you ask for things in plain English and it does them. Here is what that actually looks like.
lists every account you can touch, with the one that has payment attached.
pulls your spend, cost per result, and click rate, and tells you what is actually happening.
builds it, paused, no spend, until you say go.
reads the numbers and names what is bleeding money.
The part that made me trust it: it can build, edit, and pause, but it physically cannot delete a live campaign. The worst thing it can do is pause something. It cannot nuke your account. That guardrail is the whole reason I am comfortable running real ad accounts through it.

I am building a growth agency in public, run on AI. I am 18, I run my whole operation through systems like this one, and I post the build as it happens. Follow @riocostaaa for the rest of it.
